ABOUT - WINERY - SHABO - The Ukrainian wine: Since 2003, we have been creating Great Wines that have been recognized all over the world and prove that Ukraine is a wine-producing country with a great potential. SHABO Winery, the family business of the Lukuridze family, is based on wine traditions that are more than 200 years old. 1,200 hectares of vineyards and a modern technological complex are located in the south of Ukraine, in the village of Shabo, at the winemaking latitude of 46.6°. It was the unique terroir of this region that inspired the founders of SHABO to dream of producing the Great Wines of Ukraine. Shabo region is one of the oldest Ukrainian terroirs, its history dates back to more than 2,000 years. The location between the Dniester estuary and the Black Sea, ideal soils and climate, and the unique potential of this region were appreciated by the Swiss colonists as early as 1822. They founded a wine-making settlement here and started an era of top-level viticulture, European culture and traditions of creating quality wines.
