Description about the ABRAMO Raboso:
The name Abramo Raboso is the name of the producer's son. Is a timeless wine, expression of the owner's (Andrea) inspiration & dedicated to his firstborn.
The wine is made from Raboso grapes, which are grown in the eastern part of Veneto, Italy. The grapes are called Raboso Piave, after the name of a river near where they are grown, and produce wines with high levels of tannin, medium alcohol content, and high acid. The name Raboso may come from the Italian word rabbioso, which means "angry", and may refer to the grape's high acidity and rough tannins.
